Returns
 
To help alleviate concerns a purchaser may have when buying artwork unseen,  we offer a 14-day cooling-off period where artwork has not been viewed in person.  Once the artwork has been delivered to the purchaser, the 14-day period begins. During that time, the purchaser has the option to change their mind should the piece not meet their expectations. This does not apply to sculpture or commissioned work and does not apply to overseas purchases, although we are happy to discuss bespoke services.
 The artwork will then be returned to the gallery, which can either be by collection or shipped in the same way it was delivered. As long as the artwork is in the same condition that it left the gallery, a full refund is provided to the purchaser, without any penalties being added.  Packaging must be kept during this period, so that it can be used for returning the item.  Return shipment will be covered by the gallery unless otherwise indicated.
 
Certificates
 
A certificate of authenticity and a valuation certificate is provided with all artwork purchased through NoonPowell Fine Art.  The certificate of authenticity may either be an artist’s certificate, where it is signed by the artist, or a gallery certificate where it is signed by the gallery.  These are for your records and for the artwork’s provenance.

  • The Space Between is a new series of works where Daniel Holfeld employs his visual language to interpret the architectural surfaces he encounters. The work has recently shown as a solo exhibition at RIAI (The Royal Institute of Architecture Ireland) and presently the exhibition is running at RIBA, London, continuing until the end of May 2020.

    Inspired by Mexican architect Luis Barragán and the abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko, the influence of the vivid clarity of modernist painting is evidenced, as he transforms his studies into striking vignettes of colour and geometric form. Through this series, Holfeld pushes his artistic practice into new territory, merging two different schools of creativity: documentary photography and abstract painterly composition. The images stand as authentic portraits of architecture but remain abstract in their intention. Harnessing the flexible veracity of the photographic medium, Holfeld's close-crop photographs show careful attention to the geometric fragments of his surroundings, which are revealed in subtle line and unexpected shadow cutting across pastel-walled surfaces. 

    Holfeld’s work has been included in exhibitions throughout Europe, including the recent solo exhibition at RIAI (Royal Institute of Architecture Ireland) and presently at RIBA in London until the end of May 2020.  He has also recently shown with NoonPowell Gallery at the Affordable Art Fair,  Battersea (2020) and the AAF - Hampstead (2019); Gallery No. 3, London (2019); The Royal Art Prize, Royal Opera Arcade Gallery, London (2019); the Other Art Fair hosted by Saatchi Art, London (2018) and Art & Style, Selfridges Brown Thomas, Dublin (2018).
