‘Mind in Motion’, a striking solo exhibition by British artist Max Hembrow, exploring the fluid interplay between inner reflection and the shared structures of human consciousness. Centered around 'The Author ' — winner of the ING Discerning Eye Purchase Prize — the exhibition reveals Hembrow’s signature approach to unifying figures through bold, intersecting forms and rhythmic, modernist colour. Drawing on his classical training across Florence, Paris, and London, and influenced by the analytical language of European modernism, Hembrow reconstructs the figure as a living map of thought, emotion, and collective experience.
