Re-wilding imagines a world in which nature has begun to reclaim the traces of human civilisation. Wildlife moves through a lush, abundant landscape where remnants of architecture are gradually overtaken by vegetation, suggesting a world continuing beyond human intervention. Inspired in part by the imagined jungles of Henri Rousseau, the painting reflects on nature's resilience and its capacity for renewal.
