GILLIAN GAMBOLD British, b. 1958
In Pink Water II, Gillian Gambold layers rose pink and lilac with pale turquoise, yellow and fresh green. Loose clusters of colour emerge and recede among softly brushed passages, suggesting reflections and shifting light. Brighter yellow accents draw the eye through the composition, while the merging edges give it a fluid, spacious quality.
An original oil painting on archival paper, signed and dated verso. Supplied unframed; framing is available on request.
