GILLIAN GAMBOLD British, b. 1958
In Algoid II, Gillian Gambold layers soft pink, pale blue and lilac with warmer passages of orange and ochre. Loops, oval shapes and elongated marks move across the surface, with darker accents giving definition to the fluid composition. Three small yellow circles stacked near the lower edge create a distinct focal point among the loosely defined forms.
An original oil painting on archival paper, signed and dated verso. Supplied unframed; framing is available on request.
